Its all in our MINDSET!

March 31, 2010

As my friend was passing the elephants, he stopped suddenly, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a rope tied to their legs. It was obvious that the elephants could break away from the ropes anytime, if they wanted to. Seeing a trainer nearby my friend asked why these beautiful, magnificent animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away.

“Well”, he said,”when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and at that age, its enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe that the rope can still hold them, so they never break free.” My friend was amazed. These animals could at anytime break free from their bonds but because they believed they could not, they were stuck right where they were. These powerful and gigantic creatures have limited its present abilities by the limitations of its past.

Like the elephant, many of us go through life holding onto a belief that we cannot do something simply because we failed at it once before. Maybe we are afraid of failing again. How many of us refuse to attempt something new and challenging because of our so called MINDSET?

Your attempts may fail, but never fail to make an attempt….

&

CHOOSE not to accept the false boundaries and limitations created by the past or by others….

So, Let us break free from chains holding us to the past,

We can CHANGE our destiny for the betterment of Sabah and all Sabahans….

Vote Pakatan Rakyat. Pakatan Rakyat is the Change we need.

YES WE CAN!!! YES WE MUST!!!

377. To charge or not to charge.

March 30, 2010

To charge or not to charge? That is the question.

Who is to be charged and found guilty under sect 377? What constitutes sexual acts against the natural law.

The leader of the largest Chinese party, MCA or more importantly part of the ruling BN is forgiven for his antics which can fall and be charged under sect 377. Video evidence is easily available in any night market DVD stall. All this gentleman need do is confess and resign for a while. Now he is the president of MCA.

But the leader of the opposition is hounded relentlessly under sect 377, with No evidence except for questionable testimony. Mountains of Reasonable doubts have been raised that would have thrown this case out of court in any other country except Malaysia. Even Parliamentarians and leaders from other countries like Australia etc have voiced their concern over the political nature of the case.

Must be Malaysia where the connected gets away with murder and the opposition are to be crushed by any and all lawful or unlawful means.

Congrats to our Minister of Health

March 29, 2010

During the MCA EGM our hardworking Minister of Health succeeded in getting elected to the no. 2 position of the biggest Chinese based party in Malaysia.

Also the new leader of MCA is himself was a medical doctor.

I pray on behalf of long suffering people of Sabah that we will finally be noticed and get our new general hospital.

Our Jets can fly with No engines.

March 28, 2010

This picture reminds me of the recent scandal of the disappearance of the RMAF  (Royal Malaysian Air Force) F-5E  jet engine worth RM RM50 Million each.

Initially Our Minister of Defense said it was not a serious incident rather an isolated case and that investigations were underway. Then we found out that it was not one engine that disappeared but two.

That is RM100 Million of the Rakyat’s (people’s) money.

How did this happen? How can this happen?

This incident occurred in 2007 and the engines were found in Uruguay. The person charged was a low ranking airforce officer.

I smell a BIG cover-up.

A jet engine is not a small thing in size or shape. You cannot just put a jet engine in your pocket and walk out. How does the air force with all their security in place lose not one but two jet engines from their high security RMAF base and then said engines was somehow magically transported (undetected) overseas to a third country.

There must be many middle men involved and at least some collusion from high ranking officers. The poor low ranking guy gets to be the scapegoat. Again.

Guess who was the previous Defense Minister? Non other then our present PM. How did this happen under his watch?

Our RMAF is just too good that their jets need no engines. Maybe they use brooms to fly and protect our country.

Mind you this ranks up there with our brand new Scorpene submarine that cannot dive. Malaysia Boleh!

Ants and Grasshoppers- A parody.

March 27, 2010

(I have modified and changed the story below from an email that was sent to me)

An ant worked hard in the sweltering heat all summer, building its nest and laying up supplies for the winter.

A grasshopper thought the ant was stupid not knowing how to enjoy life. It spent its days laughing, singing & dancing thoroughly enjoying the summer.

Came winter, the shivering grasshopper called a press conference and demanded to know why the ant should be warm and fed while he was cold and starving.

TV1, TV2 & TV3 showed up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper alongside to a video clip of the ant in his comfortable home with a table full of food. Utusan Malaysia and NST did an expose on the scandal.

The majority of the Malaysian Parliamentarians were stunned by the  sharp contrast. How could this poor grasshopper be allowed to suffer?

Bung Moktar stood up at once in parliament but forgot what he was going to say. AR Dahlan stood up and interrupted Bung repeatedly but  after rambling on nonsensically for 2 hours he sat down when  he realised that Bung was not from DAP but from his own party.

Khairy staged a demonstration in front of the ant’s nest. UMNO Youth grasshoppers rushed to make police reports at police stations all over the country.

Nazri went on a hunger strike along with other grasshoppers demanding that they be relocated to warmer climate area during winter.

The Malaysia Government immediately passed a law forbidding all ants from working hard in the summer so as to bring about equality of poverty between ants and grasshoppers.

Hishammudin increased ‘More Special Reservations’ for grasshoppers in Educational Institutions & in Government Services..

The ant was fined for failing to share 30% of his food with the grasshopper. The Prime Minister announced that this was part of the NEP.  No ant should question it. (Don’t forget, Tax Audits were introduced and targeted at certain individuals who were eventually penalised heavily for not contributing enough to the well-being of the grasshoppers).

Then the grasshopper leaders came up with the ISA to keep the Ants in line, but many grasshoppers were also put into ISA….

Many years later…

Some ants migrated to the US, HK and China  setting up multi-billion dollar companies there.

Grasshoppers given scholarships to study Medicine, Law, Science and other professional courses refused to return after completing their training.

Hundreds of grasshoppers still died of starvation despite the ‘More Special Reservations’.

Losing significant numbers of hard working ants, the year 2020 came and went but Malaysia  remained a developing country, despite its abundant natural resources.

Despite everything, the few remaining ANTS were still doing their work. These Ants love Grasshopper-Land and also worked very hard to be accepted by the majority Grasshoppers.

………………………..

Latest finding showed that almost all the grasshoppers in the political arena and civil service were hoarding corrupt wealth which they refused to share with fellow grasshoppers.

Eventually there were Elite, rich grasshoppers and poor grasshoppers and of course Ants that were accused of having parents who were prostitutes and ants whose parents were beggars. This was all in the name of “OneGrasshopper-Land”.

Why are you so angry?

March 27, 2010

Somebody reading my blogs asked me why I am so angry. He says kool lah.

I told him why should I not be angry when I know that our basic rights here in Sabah are being eroded so much that we feel that having no hospital, no healthcare, no water, no electricity, no voice in parliament, no land to call our own, no timber, no petroleum needed to develop our state are all norms. But it is not normal. Having lived in Australia, India and peninsular Malaysia, I know all of the above are our rights when we have been robbed of our resources. We have no more timber worth cutting down as its all been hijacked by our leaders (high and low). Our petroleum, although we are told we are given 5%….Do you know the 5% is kept in KL and we have to go begging for it. Imagine if we can get 20% of the petroleum. What wonders and development we can bring to Sabah. What good we can do for the poor Sabahan on the street.

Get ready for the 13th General Election, We are promised 20% petroleum by Pakatan Rakyat. Marvellous! we can bring Sabah out of the Dark BN ages.

To my friend who asked me why I am so angry, I only have the picture below to show him.

Shame on Sabah BN MPs.

March 26, 2010

I looked with disgust at the latest parliamentary sitting at the performance and arrogant attitude of our elected Sabah BN MPs.

DAP MP Ipoh Timur,YB Lim Kit Siang and DAP MP Serdang, YB Teo Nie Ching was bringing up Sabah issues like our Hospital or lack of it, our electricity supply or lack of it, our water supply or lack of it and other lacking things that is considered basic rights and needs.

And what does our elected Sabah BN YBs do? They interrupt and belittle these honorable persons instead of supporting them. In the forefront and needing special mention is the erstwhile MP of Kota Belud. SHAME!

Instead of supporting the people of Sabah who elected them to fight for our rights in the first place, they seem more concerned with kowtowing to their masters in Putrajaya. My respect for them which is already low took a sharp dive to the depths of disgust.

Sad! Shame on this BN MPs from Sabah. Call themselves Sabahans but act like lackey dogs yapping in Parliament.

C’mon bah. Do your job. Fight for our rights not fight to preserve and fill your pockets.

Batu Sumpah Keningau.

March 26, 2010

Batu Sumpah Keningau

This historical stone or carving is hidden in Keningau and states the hopes and aspirations of Sabahans on joining and forming Malaysia with Sarawak, Malaya and Singapore.

1. “Ugama Bebas dalam Sabah”. Is Religion freely practised in Sabah? Well, you make the decision in view of the “Allah” issue. After it was decided that christians in Sabah can use the word Allah in worship as we have been using for donkey years, I hear that now there is an appeal to this decision by the BN government. The term “Allah” is not copyright or patented to Muslims as agreed by well known scholars and ulamas the world over. Its plain silly and used to divert from more pressing issues like our economic crisis. So No there is NO religious freedom in Sabah.

2. “Tanah2 dalam Sabah di-kuasa oleh kerajaan Sabah”. The Sabah government owns/rules the sovereign lands in Sabah. LoL! Who rules Labuan? Yes, Labuan is given away to the federal government. And most of sabah lands are owned by big oil palm companies from west Malaysia. Again NO to this one.

3. “Adat Istiadat Anak Sabah di-hormatkan dan di-pelihara oleh kerajaan”. The culture and customs of the peoples of Sabah are preserved and respected by the federal government. I would say Sabah customs and cultures are diluted by the massive influx from West Malaysia. The old ways are gone.

Lastly, “Sabalek pula rayat2 Sabah dalam interior bersumpah taat setia kapada kerajaan Malaysia”. And the peoples of the interior swears an oath of loyalty to the Malaysian government.

If our Sabah Religious freedoms are not safeguarded, our lands are given or sold from under our feet and our customs and culture are not preserved nor respected then whose fault is it?

How did our leaders let such state of affairs to be as it is today? And why and when did it occur? I just wonder who sold Sabah out. I hope that Allah the Almighty will judge this Traitor or traitors and let them burn in hell.

Police Reports.

March 25, 2010

I am sick of hearing about everyone who has an political issue  rushing to the nearest police station to make police reports, press in tow…Then proudly displaying it for the whole world to see. I am so tough, I made a police report. Their dads must be so proud of them.

What does it serve to do? The police are not going to do anything. The police have better things to do and have enough to do without having to listen to the rantings of anyone with a political agenda. The police should be out there fighting crime.

Why doesn’t the police act on the police report made by Dr Jeffrey Kitingan about our CM?

In the future if they cannot “Pang Sai” they will go make a police report. “Sioa one”.

Pssst.

March 25, 2010

Psst, Hey come hear.

Did you hear the story of the Sabah politician/Minister who allegedly killed an architect in a motor vehicle accident a couple of months back? Paid RM60k.

Very quiet. hush hush. All covered up nice like.

So handy to be in power where police and justice has no meaning.
